A day full of jingle, mingle, love and laughter

Amidst the spirit of joy and festive cheer, Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld in Model Town, Jalandhar, celebrated ‘Jingle & Mingle’ on 20 December, 2023. The joyful extravaganza brought together students from pre-nursery to UKG, creating a vibrant and an engaging atmosphere for everyone involved.

“The creativity displayed in organising activities that engaged and educated our young learners was commendable and the inclusivity showcased during the event was exemplary. It was heartening to see our school community embrace diversity while celebrating the holiday season. The attention to detail in decorating the school and creating a festive atmosphere truly enriched the experience for our students,” expressed Nidhi Ghai, Headmistress at Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar.

The event was graced by the presence of esteemed Education Officers, Mr. Sharad Tiwari and Mr. D.K Bedi, along with Mr. Malkiat Singh, Principal of Apeejay School Model Town. The Headmistresses of Rhythms Kinderworld and Primary, Ms. Nidhi Ghai and Ms. Namrata Sharma, and the dedicated teachers were also present to witness and partake in the festivities.

Ghai further added that, “The commitment and dedication of our team in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable celebration are commendable. I appreciate how the Christmas celebration aligned with our educational goals, integrating learning opportunities while fostering a sense of joy and community among our students. Their efforts in making this event memorable for our students are highly appreciated.”

The Christmas celebration featured a delightful array of activities specially tailored for the young learners, ensuring an enriching and enjoyable experience. From Muffin Decoration to the hands-on experiences of crafting Swiss Rolls and Chocolate balls, the students were actively involved in the culinary delights of the season.

The artistic flair of the students shone through in various art and craft activities, which included writing heart-warming letters to Santa and crafting Christmas tree decorations. These activities not only encouraged creativity but also served as educational tools, teaching the significance of the festival and fostering cultural understanding.

“I was thrilled to witness the children’s enthusiasm during the Christmas celebration. Their engagement in the activities and eagerness to learn about the holiday spirit was truly heart-warming. The collaboration among the teachers and staff in organizing the event made it a success. It was rewarding to see how much joy the children experienced through the various activities and crafts. I appreciated how the celebration incorporated both fun and educational elements. The opportunity to teach about kindness, sharing, and different holiday traditions was invaluable. The support from parents greatly enhanced the celebration. Their involvement in the festivities contributed significantly to the overall positive experience for our students,” shared Sonali Pusri, Pre-Primary Teacher at Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld.

Adding a touch of magic to the festivities, Santa Claus himself made a special appearance spreading joy and distributing gifts and candies among the excited students. The presence of Santa not only added to the merriment but also created lasting memories for the children.
