India and the UAE have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at bolstering educational cooperation. The agreement encompasses various initiatives, including the facilitation of student and faculty exchange, sharing of educational information, capacity development for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) teaching staff, and promoting academic collaboration between institutions in both countries.
The MoU will pave the way for the establishment of a Joint Working Group (JWG) tasked with overseeing its implementation. During his visit to UAE, India’s Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan expressed gratitude for the country’s support to Indian school curriculum and discussed plans for student exchange programmes. Pradhan also visited prominent Abu Dhabi schools that included Abu Dhabi-based Indian School.
