Apeejay Stya University (ASU) witnessed an inspiring celebration of innovation and entrepreneurship as INOVEXA – E-Cell successfully organised the EUREKA Pitching Competition 2026. Conducted under the National Entrepreneurship Challenge 2026, organised by E-Cell, IIT Bombay, the competition provided aspiring entrepreneurs with a dynamic platform to present their innovative ideas and business concepts.

The event brought together enthusiastic participants who seized the opportunity to transform their ideas into compelling entrepreneurial pitches. The presentations were evaluated by an esteemed jury comprising Prof. Hemant Kumar Soni, HoD, School of Engineering & Technology (SOET), and Dr. Amit Kumar Sinha, HoD, School of Management & Social Sciences (SOMS).

The programme commenced with participant registration, followed by a welcome address and introduction of the jury members. Dr. Sonam Raheja, Faculty Coordinator, INOVEXA – E-Cell, delivered the inaugural address and welcomed the participants to the competition. The event was organised with support from co-coordinators Mr. Chaman Kumar and Ms. Anu Rani from SOET. The participants were subsequently briefed on the competition guidelines and the pitching process.

The highlight of the event was the pitch presentation round, where participants presented their entrepreneurial concepts before the jury. The session provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate their creativity, problem-solving abilities, business acumen and confidence. The jury engaged with the participants and offered valuable feedback, helping them identify areas for strengthening and refining their ideas.

The event also featured an informative LinkedIn presentation, adding another dimension to the learning experience and helping participants gain insights relevant to professional networking and personal branding.

Following the presentations and evaluation, the eagerly awaited results were announced. Vanshika Jain & Team from VIPS, Delhi, secured the First Position, while Srikanth Manga from Apeejay Stya University won the Second Position. Piyush Mittal from Apeejay Stya University secured the Third Position. The winners were felicitated during the prize distribution ceremony, marking a fitting conclusion to an engaging and competitive event.

The EUREKA Pitching Competition served as more than a platform for competition; it encouraged students to think beyond conventional career pathways and explore entrepreneurship as a means of creating value and solving real-world problems. By giving participants an opportunity to present their ideas, receive constructive feedback and learn from the pitching process, the event strengthened their entrepreneurial confidence and practical understanding.

The successful organisation of EUREKA 2026 reaffirmed ASU’s commitment to fostering innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship among students. The initiative encouraged young minds to move from ideation to action and inspired them to envision their ideas as potential ventures with meaningful real-world impact.
