The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main April session answer key for 2026 is expected to be released on April 11. Once published, candidates who appeared for the exam can check and download the provisional answer key from the official website, JEE Main Official Website.

The April session of the national-level engineering entrance examination was conducted from April 2 to April 8, 2026, across multiple centres in the country. Conducted by the National Testing Agency, the exam serves as a gateway for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in institutions such as the National Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Information Technology, and other centrally funded technical institutions.

Once released, the provisional answer key will allow candidates to estimate their probable scores by comparing their responses with the official solutions provided by the examination authority. The answer key will be available in PDF format on the official portal.

To download the answer key, candidates should visit the official website and click on the link for the JEE Main April session answer key. The answer key PDF will appear on the screen and can be downloaded for reference. Candidates are advised to save the file and keep a printed copy for future use.

The examination authority will also open an objection window for candidates who wish to challenge any answer in the provisional key. To raise objections, candidates must log in using their application number and date of birth. After selecting the questions they wish to challenge, they will need to upload supporting documents in PDF format and pay the prescribed objection fee before submitting the request.

All objections will be reviewed by subject experts. Based on the evaluation, the final answer key will be prepared.

Following the review process, the final answer key and results of JEE Main 2026 are expected to be released by April 20. The results, along with the merit list, will be made available for download on the official website.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official portal for updates regarding the answer key, objection window, and result declaration.
