She has begun her journey with self-reflection to figure out the real purpose of life, while making friends with values like honesty, kindness and responsibility. Meet Sanvi Sangwan, presently studying in Class IX at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri. In a candid interview, she shares how a meaningful life is not measured by achievements alone, but by purposeful action.
How did you feel after receiving the prestigious award?
Receiving the prestigious award was an incredibly proud and joyous moment for me. Being recognised for my values meant a great deal, and I felt deeply honoured. The award motivated me to continue striving to uphold and practice true values. I believe this recognition was the result of my sincere efforts and the support of everyone who guided and encouraged me along my journey.
What are the core human values you believe in?
The core human values I believe in are tolerance, hard work, and concern. Tolerance, which I interpret as patience, is essential in all aspects of life, helping us navigate challenges calmly and thoughtfully. Hard work forms the foundation for a better future and personal growth. Concern, or empathy, allows me to understand and care for others.
How much do you resonate with Apeejay Education’s motto?
It inspires me to push my boundaries, overcome challenges, and aim for excellence. This motto motivates me to pursue my dreams with determination, resilience, and confidence, encouraging me to reach my highest potential in every aspect of life.
What’s your philosophy for leading a good life?
I believe that continuous learning helps one develop, embrace new experiences, and improve as a person. Experiencing new things while staying true to one’s morals is, in my view, the best way to achieve personal growth.
What is your driving force in life?
My driving force in life is the desire to succeed. I aim to achieve my goals while becoming a responsible individual who contributes positively to society. Continuously seeking knowledge and embracing new opportunities to learn motivates me to grow personally and make a meaningful impact in the world.
What are the basic human values people should have?
The basic human values that people should uphold and practice are honesty, responsibility, and gratitude. These values guide our actions, help us lead a meaningful life, and play a vital role in shaping our character and personality.
