Every child who walked into our summer camp stepped into a world where imagination soared, curiosity led the way, and dreams took centre stage. As the golden sunshine bathed the vibrant grounds of Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, GK II, the campus came alive with laughter, excitement, and a spirit of adventure. From May 19 to June 6, 2025, our much-awaited summer camp — Summerlude — welcomed children aged two to eight years for an unforgettable experience filled with imagination, exploration, and joyful learning. The air was electric with curiosity as children stepped into a world designed to spark wonder and nurture their natural love for discovery.

At Rhythms, we believe that childhood is a celebration — a time to dream, play, and grow. Summerlude was crafted with this philosophy at its heart, offering a well-rounded blend of cognitivepsychomotor, and affective development. Every moment was thoughtfully planned to strike a perfect balance between skill-building and sheer joy, ensuring that learning felt like play and every activity turned into a cherished memory.

The camp unfolded across thematic weekly adventures, each transporting our little learners into a new world:

  • Globe Trotters: Children travelled across continents, discovering different countries, cultures, greetings, and traditions.
  • Rainforest Rumble: They explored the mysteries of lush jungles and the fascinating creatures that call them home.
  • Dino Scales: Curious minds journeyed back in time to the age of dinosaurs, unearthing stories, fossils, and prehistoric wonders.
  • Space Tales: Eyes turned skyward as campers ventured into the cosmos, learning about planets, rockets, and galaxies beyond our world.

Every day was a treasure trove of age-specific programs, led by passionate educators and subject-matter experts who brought these themes to life:

  • Theatre Magic: Through storytelling, role-play, and dramatisation, children stepped into imaginative characters, building confidence and expressive skills.

  • Canvas & Creativity: Budding artists explored colors, textures, and techniques, creating beautiful visual narratives straight from their imaginations.
  • Inquisitive Minds: With science experiments, puzzles, and hands-on investigations, children were transformed into curious little scientists.
  • Move n Groove: From gentle Sun Salutations to high-energy routines set to tunes like “Waka Waka” and “I Like to Move It”, children danced their way to better coordination, rhythm, and flexibility.
  • Code Wizards: In collaboration with our visual coding initiative, children were introduced to Scratch programming, where they created interactive animations, added sound effects, and explored early computational thinking in a playful environment.

The camp reached its crescendo with a magical finale. Our young performers lit up the stage in a vibrant showcase, proudly presenting the skills they had honed. The standout moment was an electrifying group dance to I Like to Move It, where children, dressed as their favourite characters, twirled and leapt with joy, embodying the confidence and rhythm nurtured throughout the camp.

To wrap up this incredible journey, the last day transformed into a movie theatre experience. Children enjoyed the beloved film Finding Nemo, complete with tubs of popcorn, bringing silver-screen magic right into their school.

SummerLude ’25 @ Rhythms was a vibrant celebration of joy, discovery, and childhood wonder. It brought together laughter, learning, and limitless imagination as children forged new friendships, explored their creativity, and blossomed through hands-on experiences. Thoughtfully designed to balance structure with freedom, the camp gently nurtured independence, built confidence, and supported emotional growth. Enriched with engaging themes and playful exploration, SummerLude ’25 became a cherished chapter in every child’s summer, full of meaning, memories, and magic.

Parents were immensely delighted and deeply appreciative of the experience. Their heartfelt words and glowing feedback reflected the joy they saw in their children each day. Many expressed gratitude for the thoughtful planning, the warmth of the facilitators, and the meaningful learning woven into every moment, making it a truly enriching and memorable summer for their little ones,” Ms Komal Nathani, School Head, shared.

Vedika Sharma’s mother said, “Vedika thoroughly enjoyed participating in the summer camp. She loved the interactive activities and made many new friends. The sessions in the art and canvas course boosted her creativity and confidence. She especially enjoyed the speech and drama activities and the storytelling sessions, which taught her valuable lessons and enhanced her knowledge on topics like planets, dinosaurs, continents and oceans. Thanks to all the wonderful teachers and management at Rhythms Kinderworld.”

Samar’s mother shared that her son had a fantastic time at the summer camp. “He was excitedly showing his artwork to everyone in the family, and we’d be thrilled to show him the Eiffel Tower next week! Apart from that, dance classes looked like a lot of fun for them, a good break from their routine.

Izaan’s mother mentioned ‘My son had a wonderful time at the summer camp. The craft and creative program was very well executed. He enjoyed creating crafts and coding programs with where he learned and enjoys working with computers. Lastly, Izaan was excited doing theatre magic and tongue twisters with other kids. Overall, it was a great experience for Izaan, and he’s super excited to join it again next summer.

The camp wasn’t just a summer camp — it was a heartfelt celebration of growth, friendship, and the pure joy of learning. It marked the end of a beautiful chapter and the beginning of many more adventures to come.
