In a heartwarming initiative that celebrated kindness and community spirit, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, organised the Appreciate the Little Things activity to honour the invaluable contributions of its support staff. Held over two special days, the event beautifully reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing gratitude among its students.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of Classes III, IV, and V, who poured their hearts into creating touching tributes for the support staff. The young learners crafted colourful drawings, heartfelt thank-you cards, and vibrant paper flower bouquets, each item infused with genuine emotion and appreciation.
The day was dedicated to the creative process, as classrooms buzzed with thoughtful energy. Students reflected on the daily acts of care and effort by the school’s support team — helpers who ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for everyone. The artwork carried warm, expressive messages that went beyond words, while the thank-you cards highlighted specific gestures of kindness students had observed or experienced. The handmade paper bouquets added a charming, visual touch of affection and recognition.
The culmination of the activity took place on Day 2, where students personally handed over their creations to the support staff. The gesture, though simple, was immensely powerful. It brought wide smiles, teary eyes, and a shared sense of joy throughout the school premises. The moment captured the essence of human connection — when kindness is acknowledged, it creates a ripple of happiness.

This initiative not only made the support staff feel seen and valued but also left a lasting impression on the students. It underscored the idea that gratitude can transform ordinary moments into meaningful ones. As the school aptly quoted, “Gratitude turns what we have into enough.
