Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar successfully organised an intensive workshop on the latest AI tools and techniques, aimed at enhancing productivity and creativity across various domains. Mr. Ankit Goel from the Department of Multimedia was the Resource Person of the day. The workshop provided participants with hands-on experience in utilising AI for content creation, design, video production, music composition, and voiceovers.
The session on Large Language Models (LLMs) introduced tools like ChatGPT, showcasing their potential in automating tasks, brainstorming ideas, and generating high-quality content. A dedicated segment on prompt engineering helped attendees craft precise inputs to maximise AI-generated outputs.
In AI-powered design, tools such as Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, and Freepik were demonstrated, illustrating how AI streamlines graphic design and enhances visual creativity. AI in video production featured platforms like Runway ML and Canva, showcasing automated video editing and special effects generation.
Participants also explored AI in music production, where tools like Suno.ai were used to create original compositions in minutes. The session on AI voiceovers introduced ElevenLabs.ai, highlighting its ability to generate realistic voiceovers and edit audio seamlessly.
The workshop concluded with an interactive prompt generation session, allowing attendees to experiment with AI tools across text, image, and video domains.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal of ACFA said, “AI is revolutionising industries, and mastering these tools is essential for future success. This workshop provided a unique opportunity for participants to engage with AI firsthand. We are committed to equipping our students and professionals with the latest technological advancements. Such initiatives foster innovation and creativity, preparing them for a rapidly evolving digital landscape.”
