How did Apeejay School shape your journey as a student and professional?
My school years at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg built the foundation for everything I’ve achieved. The discipline, focus, and academic rigor instilled in me were pivotal. Although I pursued a non-medical stream in classes 11 and 12, I shifted gears to pursue Chartered Accountancy. The strong base I developed at school, especially in mathematics, helped me transition smoothly to this field. Today, as a Chartered Accountant heading a team of 20, I can confidently say that the leadership and communication skills I honed at Apeejay Education have been instrumental in my success.
What convinced you to return to your alma mater for your daughter’s education?
To be honest, I did consider other schools initially, but my heart always came back to Apeejay School. A conversation with a relative, who is a motivational speaker and counselor, cemented my decision. She reminded me that this was the best back then, and it still is today. Seeing Aavya’s enthusiasm every morning to go to school reaffirms that choice. She’s happy, content, and thriving—what more could a parent ask for?
Any memories from your school days that you cherish the most?
There are countless! One that stands out is when I was in pre-primary and would recite poems in junior classes. My teachers encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, which boosted my confidence early on. The bond with teachers was incredible—they weren’t just educators but mentors who genuinely cared. It’s surreal to see some of them still teaching and now guiding my daughter.

Why did you choose Apeejay College of Fine Arts for your B.Com?
After completing my schooling at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg I wanted to continue with an institution that upheld the same values and reputation. I wasn’t satisfied with the other colleges I had initially enrolled in, so I decided to come back to Apeejay College of Fine Arts. It felt like a natural continuation of my journey, especially because of the brand’s credibility and the quality of education I had always associated with Apeejay Education. Choosing one of its institutes was about staying true to a legacy of excellence that I trusted.
