Gift of life in action

Recently, Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, reaffirmed its commitment to community service and value-based education by organising a blood donation drive titled Donate Blood, Save a Life. The initiative was conducted by the school’s Interact Club in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Faridabad Aravalli, bringing together volunteers, donors, and organisers for a shared cause of saving lives.  

The event was guided by the powerful message, “every time you donate blood, you give someone the gift of tomorrow,” setting a meaningful tone for the day. It witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, staff members, and members of the local community, all stepping forward to contribute to this life-saving effort.

The Interact Club played a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the drive. From organising registrations and coordinating with medical professionals to managing on-ground logistics, the students demonstrated responsibility, teamwork, and a deep sense of service. Their efforts not only facilitated the smooth conduct of the event but also helped raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation.

Medical professionals and trained staff were present to ensure that the donation process was carried out safely and efficiently, adhering to all necessary health protocols. Donors were guided and supported throughout, making the experience comfortable and reassuring. Informational support and interactions further highlighted how a single act of donation can impact multiple lives, reinforcing the importance of such initiatives.

More than just a one-day event, the drive served as a reflection of the school’s broader vision to nurture socially conscious individuals who understand the value of empathy and collective responsibility. By encouraging students to actively engage in meaningful social causes, the school continues to go beyond academics and foster holistic development.
