Events like Children’s Day celebrations are vital for fostering a sense of belonging and self-expression in young minds. They provide a platform for students to showcase their talents, build confidence, and connect with their peers and teachers, reinforcing the values of creativity, empathy, and holistic growth engagingly.  

Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar, came alive with joy and energy as students, teachers, and staff celebrated Children’s Day with enthusiasm. The day started with a special assembly, where Ms Sangeeta Nistandra, the Principal of the school delivered an inspiring speech, emphasising the significance of Children’s Day and the importance of nurturing every child’s dreams and talents. The message resonated deeply with everyone present, setting the tone for the festivities. 

“It was a perfect celebration showing the blend of values, ethics and responsibilities. A day to celebrate a child within all of us,” Ms Alka Rai, English teacher at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, shared.

The assembly was followed by a series of vibrant performances, showcasing the creativity and talent of the students. Poems, songs, and dances filled the air with cheer, as children took centrestage to express themselves in various artistic forms. One of the most captivating moments of the day was a medley of songs performed by the school’s teachers. Their soulful rendition of timeless tunes left the audience mesmerized, creating a warm and emotional atmosphere that celebrated both the children and the educators. 

In a beautiful blend of tradition and celebration, the school also observed the celebration of Gurupurb, making it a doubly special occasion. The school choir presented a serene Shabd Gyan, adding a spiritual dimension to the day’s festivities.
