I am a dynamic professional with over a decade of experience in the realm of Business Research. Armed with a PGDM in Marketing from Apeejay School of Management, my journey has taken me through diverse roles, culminating in my current position as an Assistant Manager. As a strategic contributor to procurement strategies for clients across various industries, I bring a wealth of expertise in Project Management and Delivery to the table. My professional voyage is characterized by a passion for analytical thinking, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. 

What does your typical day look like?

My day at my current organisation is a dynamic blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution. Mornings kick off with project reviews and priority setting. Engaging with cross-functional teams, I lead end-to-end project life cycles, contributing to procurement strategies for clients across various industries. Analytical deep dives occupy a significant chunk, involving in-depth company and competitor analysis, trend tracking, and category intelligence. Each day is a quest for excellence in the fast-paced world of business research, leaving a foundation for the next day’s challenges.

My journey at Apeejay School of Management was a transformative chapter. Engaging lectures, a vibrant campus life, and a focus on practical skills development defined my college experience. The challenging curriculum and industry exposure laid the foundation for my future endeavours. 

What specialisation you picked and why?

While initially not intentional, my journey into Marketing during the first trimester of my PGDM became a strategic choice. This specialization not only deepened my understanding of consumer behaviour but also honed my skills in market research. The fusion of marketing strategy and research has been pivotal, shaping my ability to contribute valuable insights to strategic decision-making throughout my career

Your comments on the brain drain trend.

The global brain drain trend, while fostering international knowledge exchange, poses challenges for countries losing top talents. This underscores the competitive talent market, driving a need for strategies that attract and retain skilled professionals. Corporate brain drain impacts workplace diversity and calls for a shift in talent management, emphasizing continuous learning and well-being. Collaborative government-business policies and initiatives, such as conducive work environments and competitive compensation, are crucial to counter brain drain and ensure a globally competitive corporate landscape
