This tiny tot is a perfect culmination of innocence and imagination with hope in his heart and an indomitable spirit in his head. Meet Dipansh Suresh Jungari, who studies in class Senior KG in Apeejay School, Nerul. This five-year-old wonder kid, who was felicitated at the Annual Appreciation Day recently, credits his mother for being his pillar of strength. Read edited excerpts
What did you feel after receiving so many prizes at the annual day?
I participated in several competitions during the event. It was a great moment of joy mixed with learning. The events for which I participated were – Hindi recitation, Dance competition, Paper tearing competition. I bagged first prize in all three activities – dance, paper cutting and Hindi recitation.
How did you prepare for all the activities?
I majorly prepared from my home with the help of my mother for all the activities. Then I got selected in the top 5 league along with other students. My sole and whole interest lies in patriotism so mostly, all the activities I participated in were patriotic centric.
What all did you perform during the activities?
For Hindi recitation, I narrated a poem on Desh Bhakti – Tirange Kaa Karz. Then for dance, I performed on – Teri Mitti Mai Mil Java… from the movie Kesari.
I used to practice at home thoroughly under the guidance of my teachers. Even for singing – I sang the song Nanna Munna Raahi Hu… It was really exciting to do rehearsals with different costumes and props.
What is your daily routine like?
I wake up by 7 am and start getting ready for school. Post having a good breakfast made by my mother, I leave for school by 8:15 am. After coming back, I take my lunch and then wind up all the homework given by the teacher for that day. In the evening, I go out to play, come back, have my dinner and sleep as early as 10 pm.
What are your dreams, aspirations and ambition in life?
I want to become a fighter, and still figuring out in which field and what kind of. My big interest lies in joining the Air Force and participate in an air strike against the enemy during a combat.
What is your favourite food?
I love to eat parathas made with – aloo, methi, dosa. I love it each time my mother makes them for me and feeds me.
