‘The school teachers have completed the syllabus much in advance’

Ms Vandana is the mother of Divyanshi, a class 10 Apeejay School, Faridabad, Sector 15 student. Divyanshi is a talented girl who wishes to take science in class 11 and build her career in a new direction.  Speaking with her mother over a call interview, we learn about Divyanshi’s love for basketball, chemistry and more. Read edited excerpts:

How has Divyanshi’s academic performance been so far?

She has been doing very well at studies. She has been facing a bit of a problem in Physics. But it is completely solvable. She loves Chemistry and is acing in that subject, 

 Which stream does she wish to take in class 11?

She wishes to opt for the non-medical stream. She will have many options like forensic and engineering, among others.

And how are the teachers doing?

They are all teaching so well. They are giving assignments and are always available on the phone incase of any doubt. And ofcourse, all students are welcome to clarify their doubts with them in the school.

Lovely! Does Divyanshi play any sports?

She is good at sports. She is also a part of the school basketball team; she loves it. But as of now, she is focussing more on studies.

 Hope the preparation for the board exams is going as per plan?

There is a lot of work to do. From Saturday, my daughter’s second term exams will begin. Then again she will have more exams in December and January. So she will be exam-ready by March.

 We hope the school is guiding them well for boards?

Yes. The school teachers have completed the syllabus much in advance and they keep taking tests. Now they have 3-4 months to prepare well for the board exams. So all should be well.
