Participants empowered with practical accounting skills, in-depth knowledge of Tally Prime

Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Rama Mandi in Jalandhar, recently hosted a two-day workshop on Tally Prime, the latest version of the widely-used accounting software. The event aimed to equip participants with essential accounting and practical know-how skills.

Ms. Rajinder Kaur, Assistant Professor and esteemed Tally trainer at the School of Management, AIMETC was the resource person for the event. With her extensive knowledge and experience in the accounting domain, Ms. Kaur brought a unique perspective to the workshop, making it an insightful and engaging learning experience for all attendees.

The workshop covered a wide range of concepts on the basics of accounting, with a special emphasis on utilising the latest version of Tally Prime. Participants were taken through the process of company creation, financial report preparation, accounting and inventory masters creation, voucher entry, GST (Goods and Services Tax), debit note, and credit note. Additionally, they were introduced to the software’s latest features, such as automation of accounting tasks, report and dashboard creation, as well as troubleshooting common problems.

Throughout the event, attendees were given hands-on experience with Tally Prime’s powerful tools, allowing them to gain practical accounting skills. Ms. Kaur ensured that the theoretical concepts were well-grounded in real-world scenarios, enabling participants to unlock the software’s full potential for efficient financial management.

Ms. Kaur’s engaging style of conducting the workshop through interactive discussions and real-life examples captivated the participants, and kept them actively involved in the learning process. Her expertise left a lasting impact on all attendees, instilling them with the confidence and practical know-how required to tackle accounting tasks effectively.
