Success is a subjective and multifaceted concept that can vary greatly among individuals. Generally, success is the achievement of one’s goals, the attainment of a desired outcome, or the realisation of personal aspirations. Success can manifest in various aspects of life, including career, education, relationships, personal development, and overall well-being. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all secret formula for success, as it can vary greatly depending on individual goals, circumstances, and definitions of success.

However as the saying goes – success comes to those who strive, here are some traits you should imbibe to achieve success easily:

Hard work: Don’t believe in luck, believe in hard work. Stop trying to rush the process or searching for a shortcut. There is none.

Patience: If you are losing patience, you are losing the battle. First nothing happens, then it happens slowly and suddenly all at once. Most people give up at stage one.

Sacrifice: If you don’t sacrifice for what you want, then what you want becomes the sacrifice. Everything has its price. The question is: Are you ready to pay for the life you desire?

Consistency: Consistency is what transforms average into excellence. Without consistency, you will never achieve greater success.

Discipline: Motivation gets you going, but discipline keeps you growing. There will be days when you don’t ‘feel’ like doing it. You have to push through those days regardless of how you feel.

Self Confidence: Confidence is, I’ll be fine if they don’t like me. There will always be someone judging you for who you are and what you want from life.

Resilience: Learn from failures, bounce back from setbacks, and view challenges as opportunities for growth.

Adaptability: Be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances, markets, or environments.

Focus and Prioritisation: Concentrate on high-priority tasks, avoid distractions, and manage time effectively.

It’s important to note that success is highly individualised and can take different forms for different people. Success should be defined based on one’s values, priorities, and aspirations rather than solely on external expectations or societal norms. Additionally, success is often a journey rather than a destination, with individuals experiencing growth, setbacks, and new aspirations throughout their lives.
