“My daughter loves to take part in athletics!”
From athletics to academics, this class V student is making a mark at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri in her own way!
Saumya, a class V student at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, has been excelling in both her studies and extracurricular activities. Her mother, Mrs Rubi, shares valuable insights into her daughter’s growth at the school and explains what makes her love Social Studies, athletics and more.
How is Saumya progressing at school?
She is doing wonderfully. She particularly enjoys Social Science (SST), and her teacher does a fantastic job of explaining the subject in an engaging way— almost like narrating a story. This approach helps her grasp the concepts more easily, making learning fun.
Your daughter is quite the sportswoman. Can you tell us more?
Saumya has a strong passion for athletics. She’s always excited to participate in various sports events, and she gives her best in everything. Whether it’s running, jumping, or taking part in relay races, her energy and enthusiasm are truly inspiring.
Does she have any other extracurricular interests?
Yes, she has a deep interest in dance as well. She participates in school dance activities and performances. She loves expressing herself through dance and takes part in every opportunity to showcase her skills.
How would you describe the teachers at the school?
The teachers at the school are exceptional. They are not only professional but also very loving and patient with the children. They genuinely care about each student and take the time to understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
What changes have you observed in Saumya since she joined the school?
Saumya has undergone a remarkable transformation. She has become much more confident, and her class participation and extracurricular activities have increased tremendously. Her communication skills have improved, and she no longer hesitates to speak up or share her thoughts.
How do you feel about the school environment?
The environment at Apeejay Charkhi Dadri is very nurturing and student-friendly. The school fosters a sense of safety and security, and I feel reassured as a parent knowing that Saumya is in such capable hands. The staff, from the teachers to the Principal, is always approachable and responsive. It’s a great feeling to know that my child is growing and thriving in such a supportive atmosphere.
