Ministry of Education invites nominations for National Award to Teachers 2023

The Ministry of Education has commenced the application process for the prestigious National Award to Teachers focusing on educators in higher education. Aspiring candidates can now submit their applications via the designated nomination window accessible on the official website at nat.aicte-india.org.

How to apply:

Step 1: Visit the official website — nat.aicte-india.org.

Step 2: Click on the ‘register’ or ‘login’ options available on the right corner of the homepage.

Step 3: Fill out the necessary details to register, and then login.

Step 4: Fill in the registration form, and submit along with the needed credentials.

Step 5: Submit the registration form and download for future reference.

There are two categories for this award: vocational training (ITI/ Polytechnic/ NSTI/ PMKVY institutions) and entrepreneurship development, and the second category is for higher education institutions. To apply for this award, teachers also have to submit their major achievements as a ‘citation’ within 800 words. 

Further, candidates should remember that any incomplete application will be summarily rejected and no communication in relation to such cases will be entertained by the authorities.
