Dr Neha Berlia wins ‘Educationist for the Year 2023’ award

Dr Neha Berlia, Co-promoter, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Joint Secretary, Apeejay Education, and Pro-chancellor, Apeejay Stya University was bestowed with the ‘Educationist for the Year 2023’ award for her outstanding and exemplary contribution to education , skill development and research. This award was conferred by the Centre for Education Growth and Research during the 21st Rashtriya Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar Ceremony held in New Delhi.

Dr. Berlia, with outstanding leadership capabilities and a penchant for progressive, innovative thinking, continues the rich legacy of Apeejay Education. Founded by the eminent educationist and visionary, Dr. Stya Paul, the institution is now helmed by his daughter and only child, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia,  President, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group. Adhering to the motto “Soaring High is My Nature,” Apeejay Education is steadfastly committed to the twin objectives of “man-making” and “nation-building.” The institution achieves this by instilling human values, ethics, and 21st-century skills in today’s youth, shaping a brighter future.

Dr. Neha Berlia, the daughter of Mrs. Berlia, plays a key role within the 26 Apeejay educational institutions. She holds the position of Co-chair for the Education Committee at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) and serves as Co-chair for the ASSOCHAM National Council on Real Estate & Urban Development. Dr. Berlia is also an engaged member of the Rotary of Delhi Premier. Alongside her impressive entrepreneurship and philanthropic endeavours, she has gained national recognition as an accomplished athlete and an award-winning sarod player.

Throughout her career, Dr Berlia has been conferred several awards for her outstanding achievements. Earlier this year, she won the ‘Education Visionary of the Year’ award by ASSOCHAM. In 2022, Dr Berlia was awarded ‘Edu Visionary Leader of the Year’ at The Education Summit. She was also awarded for being the “Next Gen Power Icon’ at Times Power Icons and India’s Greatest Leader Award held in 2018.
