Apart from the students of AIMC, the event was marked by enthusiastic participation of a large number of students from various other educational institutes, NGOs, media professionals and experts working in the social sector. The festival was organised in association with the internationally recognized NGO ‘Brotherhood’ and with the support of UNESCO and UN Information Centre.

As part of the We Care Film Festival, many award-winning Indian and international films like Fighting in the Wheels, Fish & I, Respiration, Speechless, to name a few, were screened. These movies hit the right chord with the audiences who not only appreciated the artistic merit of these movies but were moved about the multiple levels of challenges that the differently abled have to face.

Specially-abled children from Ashish Foundation showcased a mesmerising fashion show while winning the hearts of the audience who gave the participants a standing applause.
