CBSE class 10 Exam Analysis: ‘The pattern adhered to the allocation of marks for every topic’

The CBSE class X Board exam was scheduled for March 11, 2024. The three-hour duration exam is of total 100 marks which is further divided into – theory of 80 marks and internal assessment of 20 marks.

The paper consisted of 38 questions, all of which were compulsory. The questions were asked in the following format:

Section A – MCQs

Section B – Very short answer questions

Section C – Short answer questions

Section D – Long answer questions

Section E – Case-based questions

According to Abhishek Bajaj, PGT Mathematics at Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, the analysis of the exam is as follows:

∙        Paper was easy to moderate.

∙        The level of the paper was almost equivalent to last year. Some questions were asked directly from the NCERT Book.

∙        Sections B, C, and D are easy to score as the types and levels of questions were moderate.

∙        Students are happy and satisfied. Their hard work finally paid off.∙        
The pattern of the exam covers the marks distribution of each topic.
