How excited are you to start this professional journey?

I’m very excited to start this professional journey as it will help me to start a new chapter of my life. I want to explore how my professional journey will help in my improvement as an individual and how this journey will be different from my college life.

Did you always aspire to work in this sector?

Not always, but I wanted to explore more in this sector as the banking industry offers different opportunities for professional growth.

How did you prepare for this placement interview?

Firstly, I learned about the history of the ICICI Bank and the services that it provides and along with that revised my resume thoroughly. The mentoring sessions allotted by the college were also very helpful. The key things to keep in mind while preparing for a placement interview are to learn about the company, analyse your strengths and weaknesses, and keep positivity all along.

How did the faculty help you to prepare for the placement process?

The faculty helped me a lot throughout the placement process. Like I already mentioned, the mentoring sessions provided by the college were very helpful. My faculty mentor, Mrs. Pooja Mam, helped me a lot during my mentor sessions by guiding me through the  mock GDs and mock interviews. These sessions helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses

What skills do you think are important to crack a job placement in the banking organisation?

To crack a job placement in a banking organisation, one should have a good knowledge of the sector. Along with that, skills such as communication skills and problem-solving skills are also important in this sector.

Where do you see yourself in the coming few years?

I see myself in a better position than today and as an improved individual, both professionally and personally.
