Adding another feature of achievement, Apeejay Institute of Technology – School of Architecture & Planning (AIT-SAP) emerged as winners in the Expressions Art Installation competition recently held during the FOAID (Festival of Architecture & Interior Designing) event.  The Institute secured first position in the North Zone Level (Diamond) as well as on National Level (Platinum).

The art installation was conceptualised and designed by second-year students including Divyakshi Gaur, Jeba, Nitin Bhati, Sneha Sharma and Sangram Yadav under the mentorship of their faculty coordinator Nida Hasan.

Immersing oneself in the artistic brilliance at FOAID, students of AIT-SAP created a remarkable design titled ‘Ladderlore’ . The innovative and meticulously designed installation  thoroughly arranged using books highlighted the journey of success and growth.  The strategic layout of books showcased as an emotional journey, symbolising FOAID’s triumphant  ten-year path and stages of success. Further, this visually striking piece weaves together knowledge, pop art, and symbolism, narrating a compelling story of emotional growth and achievement in a human’s life.

Moreover using the pop art concept, books were used as wellsprings of wisdom that offered a meaningful refuge in the rapidly evolving digital age. This perspective underscored the lasting importance of continuous learning and respect for the knowledge contained within books that is crucial for both success and personal fulfillment.

Sharing her delight on this achievement, Ar. Nida Hasan, Assistant Professor at AIT-SAP expressed, “Teaching found me rather than me choosing it and even after 8 years, the thrill of being surrounded by youthful energy and unbridled enthusiasm persists. Witnessing my students confidently achieve Diamond and Platinum victories in FOAID 10, brings immense pride. Their achievements garnered praise, fostering newfound confidence. From the art installation, they learned to discuss, ideate, manage time, communicate, build teams and execute the concept into a real one. Cheers to an exceptional team, and I encourage fellow students to participate in different competitions and soar to greater heights with Apeejay’s School of Architecture & Planning.”
