A spirit of pride, responsibility, and leadership filled the campus as Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg organised its Investiture Ceremony, formally inducting the newly elected Student Council for the academic session. The solemn occasion celebrated the emergence of young leaders who pledged to uphold the school’s values and traditions while serving as role models for their peers.
The ceremony was graced by Mrs. Amita Singh, Additional Sessions Judge, as the Chief Guest. She was warmly welcomed by the School Principal Mr. Yashpal Sharma and Vice Principal Mrs. Aarti Shorey Bhat, who expressed their gratitude for her presence and valuable guidance on this significant occasion.


The programme commenced on an auspicious note with Saraswati Puja and Ganesh Vandana, invoking the blessings of the deities for wisdom, knowledge, and success. The devotional performances created an atmosphere of reverence and positivity, setting the tone for the ceremony that celebrated both achievement and responsibility.
The highlight of the event was the formal conferring of leadership responsibilities upon the newly elected members of the Student Council. Amidst applause from teachers, students, and parents, Neel Nanak Singh and Saanvi Sharma were honoured as the Head Boy and Head Girl, respectively.
In addition, 60 young leaders proudly took the oath of office, promising to discharge their duties with honesty, dedication, and commitment while upholding the rich traditions and ethos of the institution. The newly appointed council members pledged to lead by example, inspire their fellow students, and contribute positively to the school community.


The ceremony also witnessed the appointment of students to several key leadership positions, including Vice Head Boy, Vice Head Girl, Sports Secretary, Cultural Secretary, Discipline Secretary, House Captains, and Prefects across various categories. The ceremonial presentation of badges and sashes symbolised the trust placed in these students to carry forward the legacy of responsible leadership and service.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Amita Singh congratulated the newly elected council members and encouraged them to embrace leadership with humility, integrity, and compassion. She spoke about the importance of balancing rights with responsibilities, reminding students that true leadership is reflected not through authority but through service, discipline, empathy, and ethical conduct. Her inspiring address motivated the young leaders to become responsible citizens who contribute meaningfully to society while setting high standards for others to follow.



The ceremony concluded on a note of optimism and inspiration, with the school community extending its best wishes to the newly elected council.
