Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, is celebrating a wave of success as its students excel in the recent CBSE Class 10 Board exams. This remarkable achievement speaks volumes about the school’s commitment to providing excellent education and nurturing the potential of its students.
The outstanding performance of these students not only reflects their dedication but also underscores the supportive learning environment and guidance provided by the faculty.
The four achievers – Swastika Das, Divit Madaan, Pritha Majumdar, and Rishima Dua — share inspiring stories of perseverance and success. They discussed their study methods, future goals, and the encouragement they received from their families and teachers, all of which played a crucial role in their exceptional achievements.
‘Don’t stress out too much, as prolonged stress shall only deteriorate the results’

Swastika, who scored 97.6% and is the topper of the school as well, was super thrilled and pleasantly surprised with her recent score. ‘It’s the highest I’ve achieved in the past two years. My approach to the Board exams wasn’t too structured. I allocated equal time to all subjects, though I devoted more hours to Math and Science. Interestingly, my highest score was in Social Studies, despite my focus on other subjects,” the student who is now in class XI and opted for PCMB shared and added that in Math she scored 95 an impressive 99 in Social Studies.
“I didn’t opt for any tuition classes which is why all the credit goes entirely to my school teachers, especially my Math teacher, for their support and guidance,” Swastika said.
‘Being consistent is the key to move forward’

For a student like Divit, who scored 97%, consistency is the only key he follows. “I am filled with immense happiness and pride, knowing that I have brought joy to my teachers and family through my achievements, which were made possible by their unwavering support and motivation,” he said and added that he scored 98 in English, 95 in Hindi, 99 in Math, 99 in Social Studies, and 94 in Science.
“Math is my favourite subject, for which I practiced questions regularly. I dedicated around four hours daily to my studies, maintaining consistency and focus. To unwind, I would occasionally play football or engage in mental activities like solving Rubik’s Cube to stay calm and refreshed,” the class XI student shared, who has chosen Commerce with Math to pursue his dreams and ranked second in the school.
‘It doesn’t matter how many hours you study it’s just how concentratedly you study’

“I am overflowing with joy and gratitude as it was truly unexpected and indescribable. I focused on studying diligently without expecting specific outcomes, simply trusting that my efforts would yield results. I believe in the philosophy of The Gita, which emphasises performing one’s duty without an expectation of the outcome, and this guided my approach,” Pritha said, who scored 96.8% and ranked third in school in the Board exams.
She shared that she preferred quality over quantity in her study sessions, ensuring full concentration during study hours. “I solely relied on NCERT books and pursued self-study, acknowledging the invaluable support of my teachers and parents. Whenever stress crept in, I found solace in reading novels, and on weekends, movies helped me strike a balance,” the class XI student said who has taken up PCB and aspires to become a doctor.
‘It is very important to be consistent and not leave anything for the last minute. Make sure to focus on each subject, equally!’

Rishima, who scored 96.8% and ranked third as well, is happy with the result since she was not expecting such a high aggregate even though she had worked hard. “I dedicated four to five hours daily to studying, ensuring consistent revision across all subjects while focusing more on subjects like Science and Math that demanded extra effort,” she recounted.
Her dedication paid off with a score of 94 in Math and an outstanding 99 in Science. Books like the Exemplar series were instrumental in her study preparation. She claimed that she used to practice at least 20 questions daily to stay sharp. “My teachers played a crucial role, providing unwavering support and guidance, especially when I had doubts. They were instrumental in my success,” the class XI student said who has chosen Commerce with Math.
