India marks a historic moment

India has always been a Vishwa guru in the sphere of spirituality, and with achieving new milestones in various domains such as space and technology, we have become the best example of great balance between development and spirituality. On 22 January 2024, we added another chapter to our glorified history of diversity as the historic inauguration ceremony for the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, took place. All the nation had great enthusiasm for the inauguration of Ram Mandir.

Ayodhya is considered a sacred place as it is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. Ayodhya Ram Mandir is built in the Nagara style of temple architecture. The temple is built using pink sandstone. The height of the temple is 161 feet, and it has three floors, each with a different purpose. The Mandir is surrounded by a large courtyard and has several smaller shrines dedicated to other Hindu deities.

Ayodhya Ram Mandir is not only an important pilgrimage site for Hindus but also presents a model of advanced architecture. Apart from the historical and cultural significance, it also holds great economic significance, as it is expected that it will attract a great number of visitors and will give a boom to Ayodhya’s spiritual tourism. It is not only creating jobs for locals but also attracting new businesses in the vicinity of the temple. Thus, we can say that Ayodhya Ram Mandir is not just a temple, it is a great example of new India. Ram Mandir is a symbol of faith, unity, and cultural heritage and it is also contributing to the economic development and growth of the nation.
