Jalandhar Institute remembers its Founder Chairman Dr. Stya Paul on his 14th Punya Tithi

Marking the 14th Punya Tithi of Dr Stya Paul, the Founder Chairman of Apeejay Education, Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) in Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, organised a solemn prayer meeting to honour the 14th Punya Tithi of their founder, the late Dr. Stya Paul Ji. This event was a heartfelt occasion to seek blessings and pay tribute to a visionary leader who continues to inspire generations.

The ceremony began with Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, along with faculty members, paying homage to Dr. Stya Paul Ji. Dr. Bagga then addressed the gathering, sharing touching memories and recounting the profound impact of Dr. Stya Paul Ji on the Apeejay family. He described Dr. Stya Paul Ji as a paternal figure, known for his personal care and deep concern for every member of the Apeejay community.

In his speech, Dr. Bagga quoted Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson of Apeejay Education, to emphasize Dr. Stya Paul Ji’s dedication and resilience. “The very quality of resilience is something which Dr. Stya Paul Ji’s life reflects profoundly wherein being physically challenged and numerous adversities could not come in the way of his legendary achievements and vision of man-making and nation-building,” he stated.

Dr. Stya Paul Ji was an enterprising and disciplined individual, a beacon of courage and visionary leadership. His contributions led to the evolution of the Apeejay Education Society into one of India’s most esteemed educational bodies. Despite advancing age, Dr. Stya Paul Ji remained actively involved, guiding the society to new heights with his futuristic outlook and missionary zeal. Dr. Bagga emphasized that although Dr. Stya Paul Ji is not physically present, his legacy endures through the institutions he built, which stand as living monuments to his values and pursuit of excellence.

The address was followed by a heartfelt session where faculty members shared anecdotes from Dr. Stya Paul Ji’s life, celebrating his achievements and indomitable spirit. Dr. Bagga encouraged the staff to embody Dr. Stya Paul Ji’s qualities of punctuality, industriousness, fearlessness, and truthfulness, thereby realizing his vision.

The gathering then listened to Dr. Stya Paul Ji’s favorite hymns and bhajans. Ms. Shikha Sharma, Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering, along with Ms. Kavita Verma and Ms. Hardeep Kaur Saini, Assistant Professors at the School of Management, sang devotional songs, adding to the sanctity of the occasion.

Faculty members pledged to strive for excellence in education, drawing inspiration from Dr. Stya Paul Ji’s resilience and determination. The prayer meeting concluded with a moment of silence to honor Dr. Stya Paul Ji’s noble soul, followed by the distribution of prashad.
