‘My daughter is fond of her teachers and their teaching methodology’

Bhavana Choudhary is a Teacher and her husband Shiladitya Roy Choudhary is a Doctor. They are proud parents of Emma enrolled in Class 6 F at Apeejay School, Noida. In this interview, Mrs. Choudhary shares how she has seen a gradual progress in her daughter. Read edited excerpts: 

What made you choose Apeejay School, Noida for your child?

When we started looking for a formal school for our daughter, we came across Apeejay School, Noida. We were looking for a school that not only gives quality education but an overall personality development to the child. We had heard good reviews about Apeejay. So, we went to school and met teachers and the principal, and really liked them. So it became an easier to choose Apeejay.

Tell us what you think about the way teachers conduct classes.

The environment of the classes are very conducive for the learning. Educational content, and the study material provided by the teachers are age- appropriate. They encourage small achievements of the kids and ensure that every concept is clear to them. I am very satisfied with the education and the content teachers provide.

How has your child’s learning progress been?

My daughter is thoroughly enjoying her journey at Apeejay. She is really fond of her teachers and their teaching methodology. As a parent, we feel that our child is motivated to do more and have seen gradual growth in her. I am very happy with how she has grown over time. All thanks to the teachers.  

Are you working, if yes? Then how Apeejay is helping working parents?

Yes, I make sure that I am updated with everything happening at school. On a daily basis, I ask my daughter about her classes, and what she studied, and this way I am doing my bit. Also, teachers share all the updates, and important information on the WhatsApp group. There is a Moodle app that keeps students updated about study materials.

Do you personally interact with the faculty on a regular basis?

We make sure that we attend all the Parent Teacher Meetings to stay up-to-date with our daughter’s growth. In case of any concern in class or if we feel our child needs extra attention or teacher’s support, we get in touch with them.

How well does the school ensure children’s safety and security?

My experience has been very good for the same. Earlier, I used to pick and drop my children and at that time I have seen the teachers accompanying students. They make sure that they handover the children to the right person. If parents are getting late to pick up the child, they stand on the gate with the child. If the weather is not good they take them inside and text parents about the same.
