In a poignant ceremony filled with reverence and reflection, Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) in Jalandhar came together to honour the life and legacy of Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji on the occasion of her 12th Punya Tithi.
Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji, beloved wife of late Founder-Chairman Dr Stya Paul, was remembered for her profound kindness, gentle nature, and unwavering commitment to spirituality and philanthropy.
Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director of AIMETC, led the gathering in paying floral tribute to the First Lady, reminiscing about her love for Indian classical music and her deep spiritual inclination. He highlighted her proficiency in Sanskrit shlokas, devotional songs, and hymns, and shed light on their significance in daily life. Dr. Bagga emphasised the transformative power of chanting sacred mantras like “Vakratunda Mahakay Suryakoti Samaprabha” and “कर्पूरगौरं मंत्र”, as well as the meditative effect of the sacred sound of OM.
Reflecting on Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji’s enduring impact, Dr. Bagga spoke of her innate ability to radiate positivity and optimism, bringing solace and inspiration to all those around her. Her nurturing demeanour and active involvement in charitable endeavours endeared her to many, earning her a reputation as a compassionate and selfless individual dedicated to serving others.



During the prayer meeting, other attendees also paid homage to Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji through the rendition of her favourite bhajans and devotional music. Melodies such as “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram”, “Hey Ram Hey Ram”, “Itni Shakti Hummey Dena Daata”, and verses of Saint Kabir resonated through the gathering, evoking memories of her deep spiritual devotion and love for music.
As the ceremony concluded, prashad was distributed among the attendees, symbolising the communal bond forged through shared remembrance and reverence. The Jalandhar-based institute reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the values embodied by Smt. Rajeshwari Paul Ji, ensuring that her legacy of compassion, spirituality, and philanthropy continues to inspire future generations.
