‘My child feels happy and secure in this school’s environment’

“The teachers are very supportive here. My son can openly talk to his teachers about any and everything,” says Dr Randhava. In a candid interview, the mother talks about how this school has fostered her son’s growth over the years.

How has been your child’s experience in this school?

His experience at school has been amazing so far. My son is doing great in his class and his teachers are supportive and helpful. The school is wonderful and we have no complaints.

Is he involved in any extracurricular activities?

He actively participates in school tennis, representing the school.  Additionally, he is a member of the ATL team, showcasing his involvement in diverse extracurricular activities beyond sports.

Mention any of his recent achievements.

He achieved a gold medal in the Inter-house Dance Competition, showcasing his talents in addition to his leadership skills. He had even donned the cap of the house captain. This year is the Academic Prefect.

Does the school keep you well-informed about the upcoming events?

Definitely. The communication channel utilised for distributing information involves the use of WhatsApp broadcast groups, ensuring efficient and widespread dissemination of important updates.

How do you support your child’s education at home?

I dedicate my evenings to spending quality time with my son. We engage in discussions about their school day, aspirations, homework, revisions, and various other aspects. We discuss about his day and his friends.

How do you spend time with him?

Mostly, I accompany him to the tennis academy and stay with him throughout the evening. Other than that, every week, we plan one family outing and in every three monthsThese are outstation trips that we take as a family.

Has your child’s behaviour changed over time?

Indeed, he has become more responsible over time, indicating noticeable growth and maturation. A lot of credit for this goes to the teachers of this school.

What do you appreciate the most about the school?

The hard work the teachers put in is incredible. The way they treat children is very nice. Throughout their journey at Apeejay, there is one thing I would never doubt is the calibre of the teachers. The love and attention the teachers pay to all children is impeccable.
