Behind every great woman, are great women!

I want to challenge the popular saying, ‘Behind every successful man, there stands a woman’

The truth is different. Women are successful in their own way.

Further, I want to ask all the boys and men out there, do you really need somebody to become the reason for your success? Ummm…in this interrogation, most of you may strongly say ‘yes’, not because you desire to achieve success but because you simply want somebody to become your support system.

With this, women are considered to be more emotional than men. This may also hold true because they are the strongest creation of God. Much like frontline workers, they have to deal with the toughest of situations. Often, what we are and what we wish to become in the future is not what is destined. And even if we work hard to achieve our goals, it is rather the people behind us who are applauded. The result? We are made to feel that we owe it to them.

And truly, I think that these people behind the scenes make us worthy. They are indispensable parts of our lives and we should thank them. They are the ones who reflect the patience and determination in our vision. More often than not, these people are also women, great women who became an inspiration for us.

In the contemporary world too, women have redefined themselves in almost every field. Commonly known as the ‘other woman’, she is now twice the power as she continues to break the patriarchal chain. Interestingly, according to Hindu mythology, women are considered to weigh even heavier than Earth because they possess the capability to outshine the universe.

Therefore, I feel, as women, we must learn to live, grow and heal. With this, we must share, impact and change the world. If we change ourselves, we can change others and the world too. We become stronger with each battle and the universe which has a number of galaxies and uncountable stars may even fall short in front of us.
