Once upon a time, there was a man named Dheeraj. He was a highly successful entrepreneur who earned a substantial income. Dheeraj had a daughter named Nyra and she was the closest person to him because his wife had passed away after giving birth to her.

When Nyra turned 12, Dheeraj realised that he needed help in managing both his work and taking care of Nyra. He decided to remarry, understanding that Nyra needed a mother figure in her life. Dheeraj married a woman named Nisha, who proved to be a caring and responsible presence in their lives.

Nisha took great care of Dheeraj and Nyra, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Dheeraj and Nyra were happy with her. One morning, as Dheeraj was having his tea, Nisha handed him some papers and asked him to sign them. Dheeraj, trusting her completely, asked if she had read the papers carefully. Nisha assured him that she had, and Dheeraj signed the documents. He also mentioned that he would be going to Australia for a month but would leave cash and credit cards for them to use.

Nisha agreed to take care of Nyra and herself in his absence. Dheeraj left with relief, believing that his family would be safe. However, something unexpected happened the following morning. Nyra woke up late and asked Nisha why she hadn’t woken her up early, as she used to do. Nisha, who was watching TV, responded in an angry tone, questioning Nyra’s sleeping habits.

Nisha scolded Nyra for her tardiness and instructed her to wash dishes. She also mentioned that Nyra would be responsible for all the household chores until Dheeraj’s return. This marked the beginning of a new and unpleasant phase in their relationship, as Nyra observed a different and harsh side of her mother, one she had never seen before.

Instead of preparing fresh food, Nyra was made to eat stale leftovers, while Nisha ordered food for herself from outside. Most of the time, Nisha was on her phone, chatting with friends on Instagram, while Nyra was burdened with household responsibilities. Nisha even stopped Nyra’s online classes, causing her to fall behind in her studies.

This continued for a month, and Nyra began to feel like she was being treated as a slave in her own home. When Dheeraj finally returned from Australia, he was under immense stress due to a significant loss his company had suffered. He asked Nisha for a cup of tea, but she refused, telling him to make it himself.

Dheeraj was shocked by Nisha’s behaviour, and when he tried to explain the stress he was under, she dismissed his concerns. Nisha’s behaviour and attitude deeply concerned Dheeraj, and he was determined to get to the bottom of the matter.

Dheeraj confronted Nisha and inquired about her rude behaviour. Nyra explained the ordeal she had been through in Dheeraj’s absence. Dheeraj was appalled by Nisha’s treatment of Nyra and his unresponsive attitude towards the family’s well-being.

Dheeraj called Nisha to the living room and confronted her about her behaviour. Nisha, nonchalant and unapologetic, claimed that the house was now hers, as Dheeraj had unknowingly signed the papers she had presented to him before his trip. She asserted her dominance.

However, Dheeraj revealed that he had gone to court while he was supposedly in Australia and transferred all his properties to the government. Unless he signed documents in person, no one could lay claim to his properties. Moreover, he had instructed Nyra to gather evidence against Nisha during his absence.

Nisha was left with regret and no legal ground to stand on, as her plans to seize Dheeraj’s properties had failed. Dheeraj and Nyra emerged victorious, and Nisha had to face the consequences of her actions.
