Her favourite song on loop is – ‘Those were the best days of my life’ – by Bryan Adams. After all, it reminds her of all her golden days at her alma mater. Meet Avanika Singh who passed out from Apeejay School, Noida in 2024. In a candid interview, she shares how her interest in human behaviour led her to study the same.
What are you pursuing now?
I’m currently pursuing Psychology at Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. My passion lies in psychology and the deep understanding of human behaviour. I am fascinated by what drives people, how they interact, and the underlying factors that shape their decisions and personalities.
How are the teachers at this school?
Apeejay has an outstanding faculty, with every teacher being incredibly supportive and understanding. The senior teachers, in particular, have always encouraged me, helped me believe in myself, and boosted my confidence.
Share your favourite memories from school.
My favourite memories of Apeejay School will always be the PT periods and lunch breaks. The vast ground and diverse activities made every moment exciting, creating an experience that I’m sure every student cherished.
Which extracurricular activities did you enjoy at school?
I’ve always been passionate about sports, making it my favourite extracurricular activity. Playing any sport brought me a sense of peace and fulfilment, making it an essential part of my experience.
Any message for the present school students?
To all the students currently at Apeejay School, cherish every moment of your school life — it’s a time you’ll never get back. Get involved, explore your passions, and never hesitate to seek guidance from your teachers; they are your greatest support. Most importantly, believe in yourself, work hard, and enjoy the journey!
