CBSE Class 12th Results 2024 Declared: Pass percentage is 87.98%; no merit list released

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the results for the Class 12 examinations of 2024, with an overall pass percentage of 87.98%. Students can access their results through multiple online platforms, including the official CBSE website (cbse.gov.in), as well as other designated sites like cbseresults.nic.inresults.cbse.nic.indigilocker.gov.in, and results.gov.in.

Notably, in an effort to discourage unhealthy competition among students, CBSE has opted not to declare any merit list or award divisions (like first, second, or third) to students this year. This decision aligns with the board’s approach to prioritise overall student well-being and reduce undue pressure often associated with merit lists.

Students can follow a straightforward process to check their results on the CBSE official website:

Visit cbse.gov.in.

1. Click on the link for “CBSE Class 10 Result 2024.”

2. Enter the required login details (such as roll number).

3. Submit the details to view the result.

4. The result will appear on the screen; students can download and print a hard copy for future reference.

This year’s results reflect the culmination of the class 12th journey for many students, with the board’s emphasis on reducing competitive pressures and promoting holistic student development.

Students are encouraged to access their results promptly through the designated platforms and celebrate their achievements in this significant academic milestone.
