This Noida school welcomes students for a new academic session

New academic session means new books, new teachers and more fun! Once the exams are over, students are excitedly waiting to start their new classes with lots of energy, fresh vibes and new goals. It is the time when kids feel highly motivated and encouraged to learn more and more new things.

Thus welcoming young learners for a new academic session, Apeejay School, Noida rolled out a red carpet for the students of classes Nursery to 5. The young learners were thrilled and enthusiastic as their teachers greeted them with a welcome tilak on their arrival.

The first day of the new session commenced on an auspicious note with students taking the blessings of the Almighty. They were also offered prasad by the class teacher.

Further, teachers organised a plethora of activities to keep the children engaged throughout the day. The teachers of Pre-Primary wing performed a story enactment in the multipurpose hall and gave all tiny tots a smiley as a part of the take-away activity.

Meanwhile, the students of class 2 participated in an activity named ‘Thanks for the Compliment,’ wherein they complimented each other and wrote an adjective describing their friend on a badge.

At the same time, students of classes 3 to 5 showcased their talent in front of their peers at ‘Talented Wednesday’ activity. The school’s atmosphere was filled with zeal, warmth and liveliness.

Later, to inculcate the habit of reading, they were instructed to bring their favourite storybook, puzzle/crossword book and share interesting information with their peers. The students were also asked to bring fruits/ light snacks and healthy food items for their lunch. They wholeheartedly enjoyed their meal with friends and teachers and had a great time at the play zone.

Mrs. Smriti Samuel, Primary-Incharge at Apeejay School, Noida congratulated the young learners and was very impressed to see their creative streak in different activities. She said, “With a lot of ardour and patience, we embraced our young learners back in the realm of our learning zone at the beginning of the new session. The day was pre-planned for fun and frolic activities. The teachers organised a plethora of enrichment activities to enthuse the students with a desire to learn actively.”

Towards the end, students were briefed about their subject teachers, timetable and bus routes. The teachers and student volunteers ensured smooth arrival and dispersal of the tiny tots on their first day. They all went back home with smiling faces and memories to cherish.
