Mrs. Rajni Aggarwal is a homemaker. Her husband Mr. Chandher Bhushan Aggarwal is a businessman dealing in sanitary products. Both their children are Apeejay School students. Their younger son Talin Aggarwal studies in class 8 at Apeejay Model Town while the elder son Jatin Aggarwal is in class 10 student at Apeejay Mahavir Marg.

In an informal interview, Mrs. Aggarwal applauds the school for consistently putting in efforts to ensure the development of the students during the pandemic. Edited excerpts:

Why did you choose Apeejay School Model Town for Talin’s admission?

The education a child receives at Apeejay Model Town is simply too good. The plethora of activities at the school keep the child very active. Both the teaching and non teaching staff are very caring.

Please tell us a bit about Talin and take us through his progress at the school?

Talin likes Social Studies a lot, History to be specific in that. In the extra-curricular activities, he likes badminton and plays the same in the school. He is doing well in studies. His teachers tell me that he performs well in class but he should reduce his mischiefs a little bit (laughs)

Are the teachers engaging well with the students?

The teachers are teaching very well. All the teachers create engaging lesson plans that help students develop and nurture their interests in education.

What is the best thing about the school?

During the pandemic, the academic progression of students in other schools was severely impacted but Apeejay Model Town put in so much effort for the growth of their students, especially with classes moving from offline to online classes. Never once in the pandemic were we stressed about the academic progress of our children.

How has the experience of the online classes been for Talin?

The online classes would begin from 9 am and go on till two in the afternoon, similar to what used to be before the pandemic. After the regular classes, the activity classes would go on till four in the evening. The children in my extended family who are in other schools, did not have any such facilities. Only Apeejay Model Town has put in such a tremendous effort.

Now that the schools have reopened, is your child happy to be back at the school?

He is very happy to be back in school. When he was at home, he used to be restless and was anxiously waiting for the school to reopen . But now he is very happy.
