It is that month of the year which is full of festivals and brings joy to everyone. Navratri, Durga Ashtami, or Dussehra, the festival denotes the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura.

To explain the importance of this festival, Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld recently organised a fun-filled role play activity for the tiny tots while marking the celebration of Dussehra.

Displaying their immense talent, young kids dressed up in colourful robes of Lord Rama, Sita, Hanuman, Ravana and several other Gods and Goddess. They enacted Ram Leela for the audience and conveyed the message of victory of good over evil.

This activity session provided the young students with an opportunity to display their talent, and learn values of honesty, obedience as well as respect.

Further, tiny tots along with teachers sang aarti and bhajans on the glorious occasion of Dussehra. Mr. Malkiat Singh, Principal, Apeejay School Model Town, and Ms. Nidhi Ghai, Headmistress of Pre-Primary were also present on the occasion.

Expressing her thoughts, Ms. Ghai said, “We make sure that we celebrate every festival and inculcate cultural values in the young learners. The main purpose of making students enact was to make them feel the character in themselves and value the Indian system.”

Parents were also delighted when they witnessed their kids perform so wonderfully. It gave them a memorable experience that they will cherish for lifetime.
