Career guidance session empowers the students of this school

Expert insights and practical tips guide students of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park through the maze of post-class XII opportunities

Career guidance sessions are essential for helping students navigate the often overwhelming choices after school. They provide crucial insights into various career paths, entrance exams, and preparation strategies, empowering students to make informed decisions about their future. Such sessions also enhance time management skills, fostering focused, goal-oriented academic growth. 

A well-rounded and insightful career guidance session was held at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, for students of classes XI and XII. The session, designed to help students navigate the complex post-class XII career landscape, was conducted by Mr Binit Kumar Binod, a Management Graduate from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai, with an Engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology.  

Mr Binit led the students through an informative journey, shedding light on a wide array of career options available after class XII. He discussed key entrance exams like CUET, CLAT, and IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test), outlining their significance and preparation strategies. Emphasising the importance of effective time management, he stressed that a well-structured study plan can make a significant difference in a student’s preparation for these exams.

The school regularly conduct career orientation programs to make parents & students future-ready.” said Ms Vandana Bansal, Vice Principal of the school.

Adding a practical touch to the session, Mr Binit conducted an aptitude test that gave students a taste of real-life exam scenarios, helping them assess their strengths and areas for improvement. The interactive session was well-received, with students engaging actively in discussions and asking insightful questions about various career paths.

After the session, Ms Surabhi Joshi, the Principal of the school, expressed her gratitude to Mr Binit Kumar Binod for his valuable guidance. She commended the session for being both informative and immersive, offering students a deeper understanding of their career options and the steps they need to take in their academic journey. 

Overall, the session proved to be an excellent opportunity for the students to gain expert insights and guidance, equipping them with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their future careers.
