To help children think creatively and express their feelings, Apeejay School, Noida recently organised a freehand drawing activity for the students of kindergarten. Students participated with full zeal and displayed their immense talent with confidence.
During the activity, they created compositions through drawings on the topics like seasons, nature, my family and animal kingdom. The beautiful artworks created by the students also showcased their imagination.
The young minds also learned to estimate distance, size and textures. Through this event, the idea was to develop the students’ visual analysis skills.

Further, the tiny tots understood the differences between big or small, smooth or rough, near or far. The colours added by them to the art brought a lively ambiance to the classrooms.
Juhi Mehta, coordinator of the class said, “Little children are full of imagination and creativity. We feel that a little spark can ignite their latent talent. Freehand drawing and colouring is one such activity. Students expressed their imagination on paper effortlessly.”
