‘Apeejay Nerul is developing my daughter very well’
The parent speaks about his daughter’s progress in the classroom and beyond
Avanti Kakade is a class 4 student at Apeejay School, Nerul. She has a penchant for dance as well as loves quizzing. In a quick chat with her father, we get some more insights into the youngling’s progress at the school. Read edited excerpts:
How is Avanti doing at the school?
My daughter is very proactive in all the school activities and she is doing very well. She answers very often in the class and her marks are also very good. I am very happy with her progress.
Which are her favourite subjects?
She loves Math and Marathi the most. But frankly, she is good in all subjects. Science and Social Studies are also her major interest areas.
What are her favourite activities?
Dance is her go to activity. Avanti also has a lot of leadership qualities and takes part in many activities and steps up to the occasion. She loves to take part in all the quiz competitions.
How are the teachers at school supporting?
They are all taking extra efforts for all the students. I have observed that they always encourage each and every child by identifying their skillset. This I feel is the right approach.
What’s your take on the school environment?
The teachers ensure the holistic development of all the students, from academics to co-curricular and even the right attitude and behaviour. Parent Teacher Meetings are held every 2-3 months. We, parents, are constantly updated about our child’s progress and that feels very nice. Teachers organise a lot of activities and the children are always busy learning something new. It is excellent!
