Mayra’s journey to Apeejay was guided by her passion for both academics and badminton, leading her family to seek a school that could nurture her talents in both realms. What prompted the decision to enrol Mayra in Apeejay School?

Most of Mayra’s cousins were already enrolled in Apeejay, albeit in different branches. Observing their positive experiences and considering Mayra’s academic enthusiasm, we decided to shift her to Apeejay after her 5th grade. Her teacher had earlier suggested a study-based school due to her keen interest in studies, but as Mayra ventured into badminton during her 3rd grade, we sought a school with a strong emphasis on extracurricular activities like Apeejay.

How has Apeejay School supported Mayra’s academic and extracurricular pursuits, particularly in badminton?

Apeejay has been an excellent match for Mayra. We appreciate the school’s support for her badminton training, even granting her permission to attend classes late due to her rigorous training schedule. While she hasn’t yet joined the school’s badminton team, she’s eager to do so in the near future. Mayra has found Apeejay to be a welcoming environment where she quickly made friends and felt at ease, despite her initial nerves.

Could you tell us more about Mayra’s daily routine, balancing school and badminton?

Mayra’s days are packed with both school and badminton commitments. She attends a private badminton academy in the early morning and evening, waking up at 4:15 AM to start her day. Despite her demanding schedule, she diligently completes her schoolwork, often utilising weekends for additional study time. We’ve been impressed by her responsibility and time management skills.

How has Apeejay School facilitated Mayra’s academic progress and extracurricular interests?

Apeejay’s teachers have been instrumental in Mayra’s journey. They’re supportive and cooperative, always available to assist with any queries or concerns. We particularly appreciate their proactive communication, such as informing us about exam timings to ensure Mayra doesn’t miss any important classes or activities. The school’s commitment to holistic education, including extracurricular activities like badminton, aligns perfectly with Mayra’s aspirations.

What are Mayra’s future aspirations, especially regarding badminton?

Mayra dreams of pursuing badminton professionally, and we’re thrilled to support her in this endeavour. Apeejay has played a pivotal role in nurturing her talents and providing a supportive environment for her ambitions.
