Great news for Apeejay School of Management (ASM) in Dwarka, as All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has verified and approved the grant for the upcoming international conferences to be organised by the institute. Dr. (Prof.) Alka Munjal, Director at ASM and Prof. Anuj Kumar, Assistant Professor were the applicants for this grant proposal.

The grant proposal was submitted last year in October.  The proposal was verified and checked under the  GOC (Grant for Organising Conference) scheme by AICTE. The GOC scheme provides financial assistance to institutions for organising conferences in various fields of technical education. Moreover, it is a way of extending opportunities to the academicians and working professionals by providing them a forum for sharing their knowledge, experiences, innovations and inventions.

Sharing her view, Dr. Alka Munjal said, “For any higher education institution, conducting conferences is an important initiative. At ASM Dwarka, we conduct 3-4 conferences annually. To get a grant from AICTE for conducting a conference is an important milestone for us. This reiterates our commitment to knowledge sharing and research. We will ensure that this is a very good conference. As the coordinator of the conference, we will not leave any stone unturned to ensure its success.”

Adding further, Prof. Anuj Kumar said, “It is good to receive funding from AICTE and this will be helpful in taking this conference to a larger audience. This funding will broaden the scope and coverage of this conference.”

ASM is in the planning phase for organising a conference that will provide an opportunity for academic collaboration, networking, knowledge enhancement, research collaboration and publication. The institute will invite speakers from reputed Indian and foreign universities thereby giving a good platform to research scholars and other academicians to present their papers.
