I’m, at present, doing my internship at Grant Thornton Bharat LLP as a Market Ecosystem Intern, where I explore how different market players. My role involves understanding value creation and flow across these networks, along with examining how financial elements like investments and pricing dynamics influence market behaviour. I collect and analyse data to identify trends and opportunities. This experience has allowed me to apply my interest in finance within a wider market context while developing valuable skills in data analysis and market research.
What’s your advice for aspiring management students?

I’d say, don’t limit yourself to just the classroom. Management is about understanding how businesses work in the real world, so take every opportunity — internships, live projects, certifications, case competitions. Build practical skills like Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis early on, and always stay curious about what’s happening in the industry.

What are the recent trends in finance and business analytics in the market?

Right now, sustainable finance, ESG investing, and carbon markets are gaining a lot of traction. In business analytics, tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Python are in high demand. Companies are increasingly using predictive analytics, AI, and real-time data to drive decisions.

How is the faculty at Apeejay School of Management?

The faculty is a great blend of academic excellence and industry experience. They are approachable, supportive, and always encourage critical thinking. Their mentorship has helped me bridge the gap between theory and practical application, especially in subjects like Finance, Research Methods, and Business Analytics.

One of my favourite experiences was presenting my research on sustainable finance and carbon markets at an international conference. It felt amazing to represent my college on such a platform. Apart from that, the bonding with classmates during group projects and college fests has also been memorable.
