‘Throwback to being back to school’: Short Note by Varun Puntambekar, Apeejay School, Nerul

So, I was back to school physically, after over a ruefully long break of about sixteen months. I was really delighted and had a completely fresh mind filled with curiosity and willingness to study. The drudgery of online classes had had a miserable effect on me. Only a handful of us had agreed to attend physical school. School had made suitable arrangements to welcome us back.
Our class teacher greeted us cheerfully. We liked it so much, seeing her in person. She asked each one of us why we chose physical school over online school. We began to enjoy our first class in offline school.
Days passed, we studied well; I witnessed my teachers teaching us with a book in their hands, writing on the good-old blackboard! How wonderful it felt! Internally, I was healing. Those distractions over the internet which bothered me all these months as they interfered with my studies were all over. I had started feeling better, my ability to concentrate had returned. Over and above academics, I enjoyed the company of my classmates. We are a cosy group. We get the attention of all teachers. We are able to concentrate and answer their questions. There are interesting discussions in class, and moreover all my classwork stays complete due to good concentration and working with the group. I am really glad and satisfied that I have started attending school again.
