His son joined the Apeejay School, Greater Noida, in Class V; today, he is in Class VII. This school was recommended to him by his neighbour. The parent had also received good feedback about it, and based on that, the family chose this school. For the family, the decision was guided by trust, word of mouth, and the assurance that the school would offer the right environment for their child. Meet Vineet Tiwari, whose son, Pushkar, is studying here.

In an impromptu interview, the father talks about how the teachers have helped his son academically, among other things.

What changes have you seen in him since he joined the school?

In the last two years, I have seen good improvement in him. Earlier, he was a little shy, but now he has become more confident. I can also see competitiveness in him, not only in academics but also in social and personality-related areas. Overall, the school has helped him grow well.

Does he take part in co-curricular activities?

He participates in multiple co-curricular activities at school. In the last session, he also took part in a competition in Delhi from his school. He keeps participating in different activities organised by the school.

Is there any particular activity he enjoys?

He is good at cricket, and he also likes taking part in competitions. Whatever opportunity is provided by the school, he tries to participate and give his best.

How have the teachers helped him grow academically and otherwise?

The teachers have been very supportive. All his teachers, including his previous class teacher, have been good. They guide him on how to study, how to attempt his work, and how to improve in class.

How is the parent-teacher communication?

We are easily able to stay in touch with the teachers. If needed, I can contact them by phone, and I can also speak to them during school time. So, overall, the communication between parents and teachers is good.

Have you seen any change in his values, discipline, or confidence?

I can say that the improvement is visible. He was already a disciplined child, but in terms of confidence, I have seen improvement. Earlier, he was a little shy, and like many children, he hesitated coming forward. Now, I feel he is more confident and willing to participate.
