Apeejay School, Tanda Road in Jalandhar, recently radiated warmth and cheer as it wholeheartedly commemorated International Family Day. The school’s initiative was driven by the profound belief in nurturing familial bonds and promoting collective harmony among its students from Classes I to VIII.

As part of various  activities, Class I students commenced the festivities by crafting vibrant displays using their family handprints, symbolising the essence of love and togetherness within their households.

Class II: Transitioning into a journey of self-discovery and heritage, students meticulously designed family trees, intricately mapping out their familial lineage and connections.

Classes III to V: These budding culinary artists embarked on a gastronomic adventure with their families, cooking up delectable specialties and capturing the essence of familial camaraderie through shared culinary experiences.

Class VI: Igniting the flames of creativity, students and their families dabbled in the realms of artistry and craftsmanship, intertwining their imaginations to create masterpieces and immortalising their collaborative efforts through cherished photographs.

Class VII: Fostering a spirit of compassion and altruism, students extended their hands to the less fortunate, distributing food items and essential supplies to impoverished families, embodying the school’s ethos of empathy and community service.

Class VIII: Embracing the role of environmental stewards, senior students and their families embarked on the ‘Plant A Family Garden’ initiative, sowing the seeds of environmental consciousness as they nurtured a variety of flora, fostering a deep sense of responsibility towards the planet.
