Holistic education nurtures a child’s overall development by focusing on academics, emotional well-being, creativity, and physical growth. It encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and social skills, ensuring they grow into well-rounded individuals ready to face real-world challenges with confidence and adaptability. These factors enabled Dr Sheetal Aggarwal Arora, mother of Shreyas, studying in Class VIII, to choose Apeejay School, Nerul, for her child.
Read on to know more about their journey.
What made you choose Apeejay school for your child?
The school has a strong legacy and provides a conducive environment for students to thrive academically and personally. After thorough online research, reading reviews, and considering various factors, we decided that this school would be the best choice for his continued education.
What made you change the branch of school?
We recently relocated to a new home, and as part of this transition, we wanted to enrol him in a well-recognised CBSE school that offers quality education and overall development. Fortunately, we found that an Apeejay School branch was conveniently located nearby. Given its strong reputation and academic excellence, we switched from Kharghar to Nerul as per our home location.

How has been your journey with Apeejay Schools so far?
Overall, our experience with the schools has been positive, particularly in terms of maintaining discipline and fostering a structured learning environment. The school’s approach ensures that students develop a sense of responsibility, respect, and self-discipline, which are essential for their overall growth.
Any extracurricular activities he enjoys?
He is naturally inclined towards academics and enjoys studying, making him a diligent and focused student. However, he enjoys playing table tennis to unwind and stay active.
What’s your parenting mantra?
I strive to guide him well, but I also want him to develop the ability to make his decisions, both academically and personally. No matter what path he chooses, I will always support him. As a doctor, I initially hoped he would pursue a career in the medical field, but over time, I have come to believe that his future should be shaped by his interests and aspirations.
Amidst your busy schedule, how do you spend time with him?
Since my husband and I are doctors, we mostly spend quality time together at night or on weekends, making the most of our free moments. These times are precious, allowing us to connect, unwind, and strengthen our bond.
