Tips for managing stress levels

“In the game of life, obstacles are not glitches, they are the design”.
Life is a daring adventure. There is no life without challenges. Each obstacle expands our horizon of learning something new. But each challenge is not that easy to cross. Sometimes our strategies fail, our heart pounds with the fear of setback, and all the pressure affects our mental wellbeing, which is termed as anxiety, in common language–stress.

It is a brutal phase when sometimes we lose hope and stop believing in ourselves. When nothing is going my way, my mind is filled with anxiety, which slows down my productivity at work. In such stressful situations, I practice certain things that help me calm my mind. I practice breathing exercises.
These yogic practices help me find peace. I sometimes go away from the issue to practice my hobbies. I draw, read a book, play with my sister, talk with my family, or simply sit idly. Some hours of sleep are a great help for me.
Keeping my mind away from the problem increases my energy, and I feel prepared to face the challenge with a calm and peaceful mind. Each person may have their way of bringing peace to their mind during stressful situations.
Everyone may have disparate problems, but preventing such situations is the best way. To prevent such situations, we must manage our work properly, take proper breaks, and remove procrastination from our lives. Procrastination is a major reason why we feel stressed. Leaving work for the last day burdens our minds, leading to anxiety, which in turn hampers our mental wellbeing.
Lastly, I would like to say that handling stress is difficult, but the right approach and appropriate attitude can help us overcome it.
Stress may make us think that we are good for nothing, but in those times we must remember that “ When our mind is weak, a situation is a problem, When our mind is stable, a situation is a challenge, and when our mind is strong, the same situation becomes an opportunity”.
