The famous quote “This too shall pass” is given by the legendary figure Abraham Lincoln, who had served as the President of America. He contributed immensely to the emancipation of slavery.  This quote reflects how Lincoln drove the darkness out of his nation, to attain liberty and peace. “This too shall pass” means that nothing will last till eternity in our lives—neither the good days nor the bad days.

Which means one must live the present moment to the fullest, as one is unaware of what awaits next. Relish the good experiences and learn lessons from the bad experiences. Appreciate the good times life offers you, and have no regrets about the bad times. Throughout life, things will come and go, as nothing is permanent. You will not have the same situations in your entire life. So just live to learn from all the experiences and learn to live your life with all your heart.

Every single day is a blessing that challenges us to become better than yesterday. Be thankful to witness every day as you gain profundity with the passing days. Each and every day has a different role to play in our life. Bad experiences teach us the value of the good and make us capable of discernment.

So do not feel despondent about your bad experiences; it will only help you improve. People will change, places will change, and situations will change with the elapsing time. Eventually, days will pass into weeks, weeks will pass into months, months will pass into years, and years will pass into decades. It is rightly said, “There is an end to every dark tunnel.”

Every sunset is followed by a sunrise. Likewise, every darkness is followed by brilliance in the events of life. When you wake up in the morning, it is another opportunity for you to discover something new. Look at the good part of life. Don’t give yourself reasons to regret, rather seek the best every day. Never stop learning as you can always make things fall into place. After all, this too shall pass!
