Meet Prince Ohlan, who interned with ICICI, feels that he gathered all the strength and motivation to embark on a comprehensive learning voyage, guided by Apeejay School of Management (ASM) faculty. “The faculty here is renowned for their expertise and dedication along with their enlightenment towards instilling ethical values, leadership qualities, and a sense of social responsibility at this college.”

Tell us about yourself

I’m, at present, navigating the exciting journey of PGDM at Apeejay School of Management. Beyond academics, my story is woven with experiences like interning at ICICI Bank, serving the community through SS Education & Charitable Trust, and being part of the vibrant campus life. I only have a few months left before I begin my professional journey.

What does your typical day look like?

Each day is a blend of classes, club activities, and community service. From diving into coursework to contributing to the Finance Club and community initiatives, my days are dynamic and fulfilling.

College life at ASM is a vibrant tapestry of learning, leadership, and camaraderie. Whether it’s participating in conferences or serving as Treasurer for the Finance Club, every moment contributes to personal and professional growth.

What specialisation did you pick and why?

I chose Finance and Marketing for my PGDM because I believe in the power of a versatile skill set. This dual specialisation aligns with my goal to understand business holistically and adapt to dynamic industry landscapes.

 How is the faculty at the college?

The faculty at Apeejay aren’t just educators; they are mentors. Their rich industry experience, coupled with a genuine interest in students’ growth, creates an environment where learning goes beyond textbooks.

 What is your dream and goal in life?

My dream is to carve a niche in the business world, contributing meaningfully to organizations. I aspire to keep learning, adapting, and eventually making a positive impact in the ever-evolving professional landscape.

 Any message for aspiring management students.

To my fellow management enthusiasts: Embrace the challenges, savor the diversity of experiences, and build connections. Success lies not just in what you know but in your ability to continuously learn and adapt.

 Your comments on the brain drain trend.

The brain drain trend is a nuanced challenge. While it signifies talent leaving, it also underscores the importance of creating environments that nurture talent, encouraging professionals to contribute meaningfully wherever they are.

 How did ASM help hone your skills?

It served as a crucible for my skills. Specialised tracks, industry certifications, and hands-on experiences like the ICICI Bank internship collectively shaped me into a well-rounded professional, ready for the challenges ahead.
